VILLAGE HALL ROOF AND DOORS REPLACED !
We have a new roof in place thanks to local generosity, monies from the Parish Council and grant aid from West Northants Council, and Winnick Wind Farm Trust. A huge thank you for the effort by the Village Hall Committee, trustees and many other volunteers to keep us warm and dry for a few more decades.
More recently we have replaced the back and side doors, giving us better disabled access and better heat retention.
The village hall is the centre of the community in Guilsborough, providing a home for a wide range of activities and a social space for everyone, from the very young to our oldest residents. The hall is also a meeting space, a polling station, and a party venue. We have over 90 hours use a month and has over 10,000 visits a year.
News
The list of our regular users and their contact information is further down on this website.
We have three bookable spaces; the main hall, the small hall and a meeting room. As most of the regular activities are during the week, the hall is mainly available for party and event bookings on Fridays and at weekends.
If you want to start up a new activity or group, please do get in touch. If you have an idea but are not sure whether it will take off, we are happy to consider a reduced hire rate to help support your idea and initial sessions.

Guilsborough Village Hall is managed as a Charity (ref 206196). Our registration with the Charities Commission refers to the building's original name "Reading Room".
The Trustees of the Village Hall include Guilsborough Parish Council
and the Lead Trustee is Cllr David O'Neil.
History of the Village Hall
The "Reading Room" as it was then, was constructed in 1901 by Canon and Mrs Hitchens. By 1928 it had a library of over 200 books, a reading room and a recreation and billiards room. It became the Village Hall in 1966, once the Grammar School ceased to be used as the Village Hall. The Hall was extended in the late 1970's and the Committee Room added in 1997.
